Mayonnaise Cake

What can I say? Corby is still on a sweet kick. Don't get me wrong. I love my sweets. It's just that I need to lose the 15 pounds I've put on over the last 6 months. Yeah, I need to lose more than 15 pounds, but I'll settle for that for the time being. It's hard to do when he's making things like this scrump-dilly-icious chocolate mayonnaise cake. Here's the beginning of the cake...Here's the finished product. YEP, IT'S YUMMY! That piece was my lunch!

Margaritaville!

We had a wonderful get-together at On the Border this afternoon. The margaritas were great! Of course, I was the only one drinking - and I'm not even much of a drinker. It was great seeing my niece, Lenore and my nephew, Nick. Even though Nick lives here, I don't get to see him much, as his work hours prevent us from seeing much of each other. We did make a pact to get together and see a movie over the Thankgiving holiday. We will be going to Oklahoma on Thanksgiving to spend it with Charles, but I'll have to come back Thanksgiving night as I have to work on Friday. Here are some pictures from our afternoon out.
