Scrapping Mania!

I spent the day scrapbooking the Joplin Family's 2007. I still have quite a bit to do, but I managed to get about 8 pages done. Here are some of the pages I did:Nothing fancy. Just highlights from last year.
I finished a book last night by a new author, Therese Fowler. The title of the book is "Souvenirs", and it was really good. Kind of a tear-jerker, but good nonetheless.

I picked up the pet carrier from the vet today. Said a prayer for Callie as I did. I know she's in a better place. We're now thinking about getting a kitten. Muffin needs a playmate. Corby says "no", but I'm sure I can talk him into it. We'll wait a bit - probably after we get back from a few short trips in June.

I don't have much time to scrapbook, but I've found that doing the 8x8 books is much faster. Show some of your pages if you get the chance!

I love to scrapbook! I just wish I had the time to do it. I've started Jaycee's scrapbook and never could stay caught up.

Margaritaville!

We had a wonderful get-together at On the Border this afternoon. The margaritas were great! Of course, I was the only one drinking - and I'm not even much of a drinker. It was great seeing my niece, Lenore and my nephew, Nick. Even though Nick lives here, I don't get to see him much, as his work hours prevent us from seeing much of each other. We did make a pact to get together and see a movie over the Thankgiving holiday. We will be going to Oklahoma on Thanksgiving to spend it with Charles, but I'll have to come back Thanksgiving night as I have to work on Friday. Here are some pictures from our afternoon out. I-Pod Mania

I thought I'd do a post about all the artists I have on my Ipod. If you have no desire to know, STOP, READ NO FURTHER! I have a wide range of musical tastes, and this is only a partial list.
