March Books

I read 8 books in March:

Sacred Sins - Nora Roberts (thanks Anne!)
Moonlight Road - Robyn Carr
Big Girl - Danielle Steel
Worst Case - James Patterson & Michael Ledwidge
The Inn at Eagle Point - Sherryl Woods
Flowers on Main - Sherryl Woods
Harbor Lights - Sherryl Woods
(The last 3 books were a series)
Too Close To Home - Linwood Barclay

All the books were really good. Big Girl was the story of a girl unloved by her parents because she didn't fit the "thin" mold. I think it's one of Steel's best books. I really enjoyed the Sherryl Woods' series, and look forward to reading more of her books. And Linwood Barclay has to be my favorite new find. Ever since my niece, Lenore, gave me one of his books for Christmas, I want to get my hands on every one of his books. This is one of his best novels so far and I highly recommend it!

My first book for April is Deeper Than the Dead by Tami Hoag.

Hoag is another favorite, but she doesn't release as many books as some of the other authors...

VACATION

On vacation for a few days (return to work on Thursday)...here's where I wish I was... I plan on enjoying some peace and quiet...and possibly, if I get motivated, getting some cleaning and organizing done in the office area of the basement. We'll see if that motivation arrives (it's not here yet)... Good news for Park City residents...recycling came to town the first of January. We are charged $4.00 month (added onto our already high water bill); but it has lowered the price of our trash pickup. The company P.C. contracted with has a much lower price than the company we use. Our company matched the price, so our trash bills went down (considerably) AND we get to recycle. We can recycle almost all our plastics, newspapers, cardboard, aluminum cans, cereal boxes, glass, motor oil, etc. We've got two big bags to set out tomorrow. Just doin' our part for the environment. We are without hot water right now...our hot water heater needs a new thermo-couple? It's a fair

Isn't This Gross?

Corby lets Muffin drink out of his milk glass. Isn't that disgusting? I love animals, but I sure don't share my drinks with them. YUCK! Brandon will be home tomorrow - on his 19th birthday! His last final is at 12:30. Corby & Kaleb are headed up to help him bring his stuff home. I was planning on going, but because Hope is out on medical leave, I can't take off. That's okay - I really wasn't looking forward to carrying his stuff down 7 flights of stairs! YIPPEE - MY BABY IS COMING HOME FOR THE SUMMER! Does anyone else out there love "House Hunters" - the show on HGTV? For some reason, that show grabs me. I like to see the 3 houses the couples (sometimes singles) choose from. Of course, most of them have a lot more money than we do! Saw one last night that was a young couple in Chicago - lived in the inner city, but with 2 kids decided to move to the suburbs. Their goal was to find a house for under $1,000,000. That a million dollars folks! How can peop
