Linda's Sunflower

Mikey came to live with us today. He is a 3 1/2 yr old Great Pyrenees and we got him at the Kansas Humane Society. Docile, housebroken, leash-trained and an 111 pound gentle giant. We've missed having a dog! Mikey is Kaitlin's, well, as soon as she pays me back for him, his food, his leash and collar. I think he's going to fit in to the family very well!

Sad to hear that Robin Gibb, age 62, died today. I loved the Bee Gees long before the disco era. May he rest in peace!  

Received mom's death certificate in the mail yesterday. So sad. Cause of death - sepsis. Strange question...was female pregnant in the past year? I don't think so. SHE WAS 84!!!!!

Several weeks ago we planted a rose bush to honor mom. Melody, my BFF and honorary sister, brought the plant and we all helped dig the hole to plant it. Look at this beautiful plant now. I think we will have some roses before long! Thanks Melody, YOU ARE THE BEST!
