Which Monkees song?

Your list is so much more extensive than mine. I'm just boring, I guess!

It cracks me up that MercyMe and Metallica are right next to each other.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the fact that you dig all kinds of music.
I'm a believer
Sometime in the morning
You just may be the one
I wanna be free

Lenore, those are some of my favorite Monkees songs! I'm surprised you even know them...

Heather, I'm a music junkie, so I like just about everything. I don't care for rap, and I'm not big on big band or classical, though there is some of each that I can tolerate.

Well, I guess you don't know about my Monkees obsession in the mid-80's when they were showing the reruns on nickelodeon. I had all their albums (on vinyl and cassette tape) and when my dad tried to introduce me to the Beatles, I said "Oh - they are just a pale copy of the Monkees"!
Linda said…
Wow, I don't remember that Lenore. How cool! Which one was your favorite? I bounced around most of the time but normally Davy and Mickey were my favorites.

As I said earlier Linda, I remember when they were on Nick as well. Lenore and I are around the same age. But I'll always be a bigger fan of the Beatles. Sorry.

I was never a big Beatles fan Heather, but I do like a lot of their songs. I'm still a MONKEE girl!

I started out liking Davy but when I found out he was only 5'3 (and at 11 I was already taller than him) I switched to Mickey.

Yeah, Davy was cute, but I liked Mickey's personality. He was always the funny/crazy one!

VACATION

On vacation for a few days (return to work on Thursday)...here's where I wish I was... I plan on enjoying some peace and quiet...and possibly, if I get motivated, getting some cleaning and organizing done in the office area of the basement. We'll see if that motivation arrives (it's not here yet)... Good news for Park City residents...recycling came to town the first of January. We are charged $4.00 month (added onto our already high water bill); but it has lowered the price of our trash pickup. The company P.C. contracted with has a much lower price than the company we use. Our company matched the price, so our trash bills went down (considerably) AND we get to recycle. We can recycle almost all our plastics, newspapers, cardboard, aluminum cans, cereal boxes, glass, motor oil, etc. We've got two big bags to set out tomorrow. Just doin' our part for the environment. We are without hot water right now...our hot water heater needs a new thermo-couple? It's a fair

Terrible Day

I'm not going to go into a lot of detail here, but suffice it to say that I had a TERRIBLE day at work! I made a huge mistake costing the company some revenue, and I feel awful! I certainly didn't need anyone to get on my butt, because I was kicking myself for the better part of the day. I know, I know, I'm human, but this was a BIG human mistake! I hate to admit that I'm human! HATE TO MAKE MISTAKES - ESPECIALLY BIG ONES! Okay, that's it. I'm having a margarita and trying to relax now. I'm done with being human for a while!
