Wichita Wings!!!

I was a Wings season-ticket holder for almost 20 years. I hear there is a petition to bring them back to town, so they can play in the new arena. I have a lot of great memories from those days. We saw some of indoor soccer's best players - Jorgen Christensen, Kim Roentved, Norman Piper, Chico Borja, Mike Dowler, Erik Rasmussen, Dale Ervine, Kevin Kewley, etc. Brandon went to his first game (a playoff game) when he was 1 week old. He spent the first 12 years of his life attending games, and knew every player's name! The twins went to their first game when they were 2 weeks old. By that time, we couldn't afford season tickets for all of us, and Corby decided the stress of the games was too much for him; so he stayed home and the twins took turns coming with Brandon, me and my mom. Lots and lots of great times at the Coliseum! Sometimes I wonder where those players are now.

Isn't This Gross?

Corby lets Muffin drink out of his milk glass. Isn't that disgusting? I love animals, but I sure don't share my drinks with them. YUCK! Brandon will be home tomorrow - on his 19th birthday! His last final is at 12:30. Corby & Kaleb are headed up to help him bring his stuff home. I was planning on going, but because Hope is out on medical leave, I can't take off. That's okay - I really wasn't looking forward to carrying his stuff down 7 flights of stairs! YIPPEE - MY BABY IS COMING HOME FOR THE SUMMER! Does anyone else out there love "House Hunters" - the show on HGTV? For some reason, that show grabs me. I like to see the 3 houses the couples (sometimes singles) choose from. Of course, most of them have a lot more money than we do! Saw one last night that was a young couple in Chicago - lived in the inner city, but with 2 kids decided to move to the suburbs. Their goal was to find a house for under $1,000,000. That a million dollars folks! How can peop...

Terrible Day

I'm not going to go into a lot of detail here, but suffice it to say that I had a TERRIBLE day at work! I made a huge mistake costing the company some revenue, and I feel awful! I certainly didn't need anyone to get on my butt, because I was kicking myself for the better part of the day. I know, I know, I'm human, but this was a BIG human mistake! I hate to admit that I'm human! HATE TO MAKE MISTAKES - ESPECIALLY BIG ONES! Okay, that's it. I'm having a margarita and trying to relax now. I'm done with being human for a while!
