Great Birthday!

It's been a really good day! I've done my usual laundry, but other than that have had a very relaxing day.

Kaitlin bought me some flowers and a giant Nestle's Crunch candy bar (my favorite). The twins gave me Season 1 of Nash Bridges on DVD. (YIPPEE!!!)
Corby made me dinner.

MeatloafHash brown casseroleChocolate mayonnaise cake with cream cheese frosting
(there was a veggie too, but it wasn't too exciting)

My birthday present (and Christmas present) from Corby is a Cricut Expressions - a die-cut machine for my scrapbooking and card-making. I got to order it today and it should be here in a few weeks.

AND - to top it all off - Brandon called me too! I miss him! He will be home for 5 days at Thanksgiving. YEAH!

All in all, a GREAT day! Now - it's back to work tomorrow. UGH!

K-STATE WINS!

K-STATE beat KU! AWESOME! It was a tense game. Corby is a huge KU fan, and even having a son at K-State hasn't changed that. I am happy when any Kansas team does well; but I had to root for K-State tonight. If the Jayhawks had to lose, I'm glad it was to K-State. Michael Beasley is a great player, and my only concern is that he will leave after his freshman year and go pro. WAY TO GO CATS!

Please

I know there are folks out there who read my blog, at least once in a while. Would you please do me a favor? Would you make a comment every now and then? It's easy...just click on comment, and if you don't have any of the accounts set up that are listed, you can post as "anonymous". Just identify yourself in the comment. I'd like to know how many people out there are actually reading my blog, albeit occasionally. THANKS!
