November Books

I read ten books in November. Obviously I was on a Sherryl Woods kick...

1) Feels Like Family - Sherryl Woods
2) Shades of Blue - Karen Kingsbury
3) Pieces of Happily Ever After - Irene Zutell
4) Welcome to Serenity - Sherryl Woods
5) Runaway Mistress - Robyn Carr
6) Free Fall - Fern Michaels
7) Send No Flowers - Sandra Brown
8) About That Man - Sherryl Woods
9) Ask Anyone - Sherryl Woods
10) Along Came Trouble - Sherryl Woods

The last three were a trilogy. I love books where the authors carry their characters from book to book. It makes me feel like I'm a part of the family.

Since it's December 5, I will say I just finished "Time of My Life" by Patrick Swayze and his wife, Lisa Niemi. It opened my eyes to a lot of things that he went through in his life, most of it kept private and out of the paparazzi's eyes. I enjoyed learning about his life.

Haven't decided what I will read next, though I received Edward Kennedy's memoir "True Compass" for my birthday. I will be reading it soon...

Isn't This Gross?

Corby lets Muffin drink out of his milk glass. Isn't that disgusting? I love animals, but I sure don't share my drinks with them. YUCK! Brandon will be home tomorrow - on his 19th birthday! His last final is at 12:30. Corby & Kaleb are headed up to help him bring his stuff home. I was planning on going, but because Hope is out on medical leave, I can't take off. That's okay - I really wasn't looking forward to carrying his stuff down 7 flights of stairs! YIPPEE - MY BABY IS COMING HOME FOR THE SUMMER! Does anyone else out there love "House Hunters" - the show on HGTV? For some reason, that show grabs me. I like to see the 3 houses the couples (sometimes singles) choose from. Of course, most of them have a lot more money than we do! Saw one last night that was a young couple in Chicago - lived in the inner city, but with 2 kids decided to move to the suburbs. Their goal was to find a house for under $1,000,000. That a million dollars folks! How can peop...

Terrible Day

I'm not going to go into a lot of detail here, but suffice it to say that I had a TERRIBLE day at work! I made a huge mistake costing the company some revenue, and I feel awful! I certainly didn't need anyone to get on my butt, because I was kicking myself for the better part of the day. I know, I know, I'm human, but this was a BIG human mistake! I hate to admit that I'm human! HATE TO MAKE MISTAKES - ESPECIALLY BIG ONES! Okay, that's it. I'm having a margarita and trying to relax now. I'm done with being human for a while!
