March Books

I read 5 books in March:

1) Midnight Kiss by Robyn Carr
2) Fatal Error by J.A. Jance (one of my fav's)
3) A Heartbeat Away by Michael Palmer
4) Love You More by Lisa Gardner
5) Leaving by Karen Kingsbury

All 5 of these books were really good. Michael Palmer's book was really good as usual. He doesn't turn out 3 or 4 books a year, but when he does, it's good! Lisa Gardner continues with her suspenseful novels. Love You More was thrilling and entertaining from start to finish. And of course, Karen Kingsbury still writes heart-tugging books. This is the first in a series about Bailey Flanigan and includes characters from Kingsbury's Baxter family series. Book 2, Longing, doesn't come out until October.

Isn't This Gross?

Corby lets Muffin drink out of his milk glass. Isn't that disgusting? I love animals, but I sure don't share my drinks with them. YUCK! Brandon will be home tomorrow - on his 19th birthday! His last final is at 12:30. Corby & Kaleb are headed up to help him bring his stuff home. I was planning on going, but because Hope is out on medical leave, I can't take off. That's okay - I really wasn't looking forward to carrying his stuff down 7 flights of stairs! YIPPEE - MY BABY IS COMING HOME FOR THE SUMMER! Does anyone else out there love "House Hunters" - the show on HGTV? For some reason, that show grabs me. I like to see the 3 houses the couples (sometimes singles) choose from. Of course, most of them have a lot more money than we do! Saw one last night that was a young couple in Chicago - lived in the inner city, but with 2 kids decided to move to the suburbs. Their goal was to find a house for under $1,000,000. That a million dollars folks! How can peop...

Terrible Day

I'm not going to go into a lot of detail here, but suffice it to say that I had a TERRIBLE day at work! I made a huge mistake costing the company some revenue, and I feel awful! I certainly didn't need anyone to get on my butt, because I was kicking myself for the better part of the day. I know, I know, I'm human, but this was a BIG human mistake! I hate to admit that I'm human! HATE TO MAKE MISTAKES - ESPECIALLY BIG ONES! Okay, that's it. I'm having a margarita and trying to relax now. I'm done with being human for a while!
