He Made Me CRY!

This young man made me cry tonight (by the way, this picture is from this past Christmas!). He sent me a song called "THANK YOU" by the alternative rock band HELLYEAH, and the lyrics made me cry...His e-mail said:
You have a very special place in my heart. That will never change. I can't express that very well in words but this song does the best at saying everything that is in my heart.
...here the lyrics are:

So many things,
I didn't say,
Is it too late now that you've gone away?
So many words,
So many ways,
If you can hear me now, there's something I gotta say.

Just one more talk,
Just one more turn,
If one's too much then...

I just want to say,
Thank you,
For everything,
You've ever done for me,
(done for me)
I just want to say,
Thank you,
For all the things,
For saving me,
(Saving me)

So many times,
So many days,
You helped me through,
Walked me through the rain,
So many tears,
Have washed away,
If you can hear my voice,
There's something I have to say...

Just one more talk,
Just one more turn,
If one's too much then...

I just want to say,
Thank you,
For everything,
You've ever done for me,
(done for me)
I just want to say,
Thank you,
For all the things,
For saving me,
(Saving me)

It's been so long,
They say time will heal everything,
Could you send me a sign,
To fill the soul in my life,
Turn on a light,
To help me see through it all,
No one left to rescue me,
Save me...

Just one more talk,
Just one more turn,
If one's too much then...

I just want to say,
Thank you,
For everything,
You've ever done for me,
(done for me)
I just want to say,
Thank you,
For all the things,
For saving me,
(Saving me)
I just want to say...

Thank you,
Mother,
Thank you,
Father,
Thank you,
Sister,
For Saving me...

I just want to say,
Thank you,
Brother,
Thank you,
Sister,
Thank you,
To all my best friends.

He also sent this to Kaleb, Kaitlin and a couple of his best friends. Now I ask you...would you have cried? Yes sirree Bob, I sure did. Kaitlin and I cried together - commenting how much we miss him. Of course, then we were happy because we'll see him the next 2 weekends. He's coming home for Labor Day Weekend, and the following weekend he's coming home because there is a concert at the fair that he and Kaitlin are going to. Corby and I will go to the fair and hang out while they go to the concert. It's THREE DAYS GRACE and SEETHER. Bet you haven't heard of either group, have you? I like Three Days Grace, but don't know much about Seether. Anyway, I was kinda depressed over the weekend, missing my boy, but I feel better now knowing that he still loves me! HA!

Current book: See How She Dies by Lisa Jackson. I'm only about 85 pages into it, but so far it's really good!

Today's music: THANK YOU by HELLYEAH of course!

Today's quote:
Love
is not written
on paper,
for paper can be
erased.
Nor is it etched
in stone, for stone
can be broken.
But it is
inscribed on a heart
and there
it shall remain
FOREVER...

VACATION

On vacation for a few days (return to work on Thursday)...here's where I wish I was... I plan on enjoying some peace and quiet...and possibly, if I get motivated, getting some cleaning and organizing done in the office area of the basement. We'll see if that motivation arrives (it's not here yet)... Good news for Park City residents...recycling came to town the first of January. We are charged $4.00 month (added onto our already high water bill); but it has lowered the price of our trash pickup. The company P.C. contracted with has a much lower price than the company we use. Our company matched the price, so our trash bills went down (considerably) AND we get to recycle. We can recycle almost all our plastics, newspapers, cardboard, aluminum cans, cereal boxes, glass, motor oil, etc. We've got two big bags to set out tomorrow. Just doin' our part for the environment. We are without hot water right now...our hot water heater needs a new thermo-couple? It's a fair

K-STATE WINS!

K-STATE beat KU! AWESOME! It was a tense game. Corby is a huge KU fan, and even having a son at K-State hasn't changed that. I am happy when any Kansas team does well; but I had to root for K-State tonight. If the Jayhawks had to lose, I'm glad it was to K-State. Michael Beasley is a great player, and my only concern is that he will leave after his freshman year and go pro. WAY TO GO CATS!
