First Snow!!!

Woke up this morning to a beautiful layer of snow.
Cinnamon loves the snow. Must be the Husky in her. Here she is with Muffin watching me outside taking pictures.
Corby called this morning. He decided to stay at Charles' and get more things packed, trashed and ready for the estate sale next weekend. He has an appointment with the lawyer on Monday. I will head down there so I can go to the appointment with him. He's handled things pretty well so far, but I'm kind of the "question-asker" in our household, so I want to make sure everything goes smoothly.

Brandon and Kaleb are headed to a friend's to spend the night. Kaitlin gets off work at 9, and we are going to watch movies when she gets home. She rented "Knocked Up" and some other random movie that I'd never heard of. I can smell the popcorn now!

Just finished reading YOU'VE BEEN WARNED by James Patterson. CRAPPY book! I wouldn't recommend it at all. I've read all his books, and I still like his Alex Cross novels best. This wasn't a Cross book, and was just stupid. Good thing it was a quick read. Picked up my latest "on hold" book today - THE BONE GARDEN by Tess Gerritsen. She's another one of my favorite authors. We'll see how this one goes.

Today's quote, in tribute to Charles: "Those who bloom in the hearts of others never fade away." -- Unknown

Please

I know there are folks out there who read my blog, at least once in a while. Would you please do me a favor? Would you make a comment every now and then? It's easy...just click on comment, and if you don't have any of the accounts set up that are listed, you can post as "anonymous". Just identify yourself in the comment. I'd like to know how many people out there are actually reading my blog, albeit occasionally. THANKS!

What's Good

Here's what's good right now: 1. Corby's OKAY after an accident at work today! He was on the forklift pulling onto a truck when the truck driver pulled away from the dock apparently to reallign himself (WHAT AN IDIOT DRIVER!!!) and he fell off the dock. Thank goodness there is a roll-bar on those forklifts. He has a headache and will probably be stiff tomorrow, but says he is okay. They sent him for a drug test. It's their policy if someone has an accident at work. 2. Feeling much better. I'm about 75% well now. Still have a cough and some sinus issues, but I think I'll survive. 3. Spending today with Kaleb & Kaitlin. 4. Having such good kids. Leeker's just called Kaitlin to see if she'd work longer hours today. They have a lot of employees out sick. She was supposed to work 4-8, but volunteered to work 2-9. Here's a pat on the back hon! 5. Enjoying some Josh Groban music. 6. Cleaning out my file cabinet and getting ready for 2008. I know, I...
