Entertainment Weekly "REVISITED"

Okay, I posted last week a blog entry about Entertainment Weekly's Top 100 Movies of the last 25 years. Now I'm going to post their Top 10 TV Shows, and my Top 10 TV Shows...

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY'S TOP 10:
1. The Simpson's - don't like, never watch
2. The Sopranos - never watched
3. Seinfeld - don't like, not a Seinfeld fan
4. The X-Files - never watched
5. Sex and the City - never watched (do you see a pattern here?)
6. Survivor - UGH - I HATE ALMOST ALL REALITY SHOWS!
7. The Cosby Show - I would put this in my Top 20, but probably not my Top 10
8. Lost - never watched
9. Friends - HATED!
10. Buffy the Vampire Slayer - never watched

Obviously you can see my tastes are definitely not the same as the EW reviewer's.

Here's my Top 10:
1. Miami Vice - I still drool over Don Johnson
2. Golden Girls - consistently funny, and I love Sophia!
3. Scarecrow and Mrs. King - Bruce Boxleitner was one HOT dude!
4. CSI Miami - great cast! great storylines!
5. Criminal Minds - always makes me think.
6. Without a Trace - great stories, every week!
7. Nash Bridges - yep, still loving Don Johnson!
8. Starsky and Hutch - had a crush on Paul Michael Glaser (Starsky)
9. Shark - James Woods can sure chew up a scene. And of course, it's not returning this fall.
10. Magnum PI - Tom Selleck - what else can I say?
11. Wiseguy - From the late 80's, early 90's. Very good show!
(yep, I went to #11)

What have been some of your favorite TV shows over the years? I know I'm forgetting a bunch. Some of the favorites from my childhood and teen years would be I Love Lucy, Bonanza, Father Knows Best, Andy Griffith, Bewitched, The Dick Van Dyke Show, Gilligan's Island, I Dream of Jeannie, Happy Days, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Emergency, Medical Center and Taxi.

Favorites from the 80's would be: Cheers, Family Ties, Greatest American Hero, MacGyver, Night Court, St. Elsewhere and WKRP in Cincinnati.

K-STATE WINS!

K-STATE beat KU! AWESOME! It was a tense game. Corby is a huge KU fan, and even having a son at K-State hasn't changed that. I am happy when any Kansas team does well; but I had to root for K-State tonight. If the Jayhawks had to lose, I'm glad it was to K-State. Michael Beasley is a great player, and my only concern is that he will leave after his freshman year and go pro. WAY TO GO CATS!

Terrible Day

I'm not going to go into a lot of detail here, but suffice it to say that I had a TERRIBLE day at work! I made a huge mistake costing the company some revenue, and I feel awful! I certainly didn't need anyone to get on my butt, because I was kicking myself for the better part of the day. I know, I know, I'm human, but this was a BIG human mistake! I hate to admit that I'm human! HATE TO MAKE MISTAKES - ESPECIALLY BIG ONES! Okay, that's it. I'm having a margarita and trying to relax now. I'm done with being human for a while!
