We think the transmission is shot in the Hyundai. If it is, we aren't going to replace it. It would cost about $1600 and that's more money than I want to put into the car. UGH! You take a chance whenever you buy a used car, but I certainly am going to call the lot where we bought it and ream them out. I'm going to threaten to go to the Better Business Bureau, and more if they don't switch and give me a different car. I know the warranty is only good for 30 days, and it's been a couple of months now, but GEE WHIZ! (I wanted to say something much stronger than that but some family members read this blog). Anyway, it's carpool time in our household until we figure out what to do. For now - I would warn you away from purchasing a 97 Hyundai Accent, especially from a small car lot! I WILL NAME THE LOT IN A FUTURE BLOG!
I know there are folks out there who read my blog, at least once in a while. Would you please do me a favor? Would you make a comment every now and then? It's easy...just click on comment, and if you don't have any of the accounts set up that are listed, you can post as "anonymous". Just identify yourself in the comment. I'd like to know how many people out there are actually reading my blog, albeit occasionally. THANKS!
