Here's another one of those "answer questions" e-mails that goes around. Thought I'd just do it on the old blog here.

10. What's your favorite piece of jewelry? My wedding ring

12. Do you have A.D.D.? um, no, I don't think so. What did you ask?
13. What's one trait you hate about yourself? I'm a procrastinator

1) Why is Corby yelling during the World Series when he's not a fan of either team?
2) How is Kaitlin's 5 page essay coming (she's working on it in her bedroom)

17. Current worry? Paying for Brandon's second semester at K-State

20. How did you bring in the new year? Crashed. I'm not even sure I stayed up until midnight.
21. Where would you like to go on a shopping spree? Anywhere outside of Wichita. I need a traveling vacation!

23. Do you own slippers? Yep, they are on my feet right now. It's damn cold!

29. What songs do you sing in the shower? I'm barely awake in the shower, I certainly couldn't put my thoughts together to sing.

32. What's in your pocket right now? don't have pockets
33. Last thing that made you laugh? The cats just a few minutes ago - they were attacking Corby for his glass of milk
34. What vehicle do you drive? Saturn wagon
35. Worst injury you've ever had? C-section? I haven't (KNOCK ON WOOD HERE) had any real injuries.
36. Do you love where you live? I like it, not sure I love it
37. How many TVs do you have in your house? 5

38. Who is your loudest friend? Whoever is drinking the most.
39. Do you have any pets? Dog, 2 indoor cats, 1 outdoor cat
40. Does someone have a crush on you? at my age, I doubt it

42. Do you collect anything? Books, Boyd's bears, and I've quit collecting Longaberger baskets because I have so many

First Day of School

It's tradition at my house to take a "first day of school" picture. The kids get less and less thrilled every year, but I still do it. Here are the twins before they left for their first day of senior year: Kind of funny that they both wore gray - unplanned of course! I think Kaitlin is putting in her plug for the college she'd like to go to. They had a good day. Found out that at 1800 students, Heights is over their limit by 400 students!!! OMG! I'm not sure what the answer is, but it is WAY TOO CROWDED! I think the northeast side of town needs a new high school. Something needs to be done! Just finished my Nora Roberts book, and have started New Moon, the second book in Stephenie Meyer's vampire series. Kaitlin took Abby to the vet yesterday to get her last distemper shot and a rabies shot. The vet told her that she comes from a line of very strong / physically superior cats.
