My Heart-Throb WINS!

I love my husband with all my heart, but Donny Osmond has been my heart-throb since I was 13 years old when I saw the Osmonds in concert at what was then Henry Levitt Arena on the WSU campus. (Is that a run-on sentence or what?). Anyway, I have been glued to the TV set every Monday and Tuesday for the last few months watching Donny Osmond's journey on Dancing with the Stars. I am not normally a big TV watcher, so this was a BIG thing for me! And it all culminated last night with Donny winning the trophy!

I was also rooting for Kelly Osbourne - her personality, spunk and dedication really won me over, and I was hoping she would be in the final two. I was not a Mya fan. While I thought she was a pretty good dancer, I thought she was a bit cocky and expecting to win. Donny certainly had the best freestyle dance on Monday night, getting his first perfect score all season.

It was so cool to see Donny's joy as he won. When he picked his wife up and brought her out on the dance floor, and then went and grabbed Marie, I was so excited for him. Yes, this 40-year-fan of all things Osmond is OVERJOYED!!!!

VACATION

On vacation for a few days (return to work on Thursday)...here's where I wish I was... I plan on enjoying some peace and quiet...and possibly, if I get motivated, getting some cleaning and organizing done in the office area of the basement. We'll see if that motivation arrives (it's not here yet)... Good news for Park City residents...recycling came to town the first of January. We are charged $4.00 month (added onto our already high water bill); but it has lowered the price of our trash pickup. The company P.C. contracted with has a much lower price than the company we use. Our company matched the price, so our trash bills went down (considerably) AND we get to recycle. We can recycle almost all our plastics, newspapers, cardboard, aluminum cans, cereal boxes, glass, motor oil, etc. We've got two big bags to set out tomorrow. Just doin' our part for the environment. We are without hot water right now...our hot water heater needs a new thermo-couple? It's a fair

Isn't This Gross?

Corby lets Muffin drink out of his milk glass. Isn't that disgusting? I love animals, but I sure don't share my drinks with them. YUCK! Brandon will be home tomorrow - on his 19th birthday! His last final is at 12:30. Corby & Kaleb are headed up to help him bring his stuff home. I was planning on going, but because Hope is out on medical leave, I can't take off. That's okay - I really wasn't looking forward to carrying his stuff down 7 flights of stairs! YIPPEE - MY BABY IS COMING HOME FOR THE SUMMER! Does anyone else out there love "House Hunters" - the show on HGTV? For some reason, that show grabs me. I like to see the 3 houses the couples (sometimes singles) choose from. Of course, most of them have a lot more money than we do! Saw one last night that was a young couple in Chicago - lived in the inner city, but with 2 kids decided to move to the suburbs. Their goal was to find a house for under $1,000,000. That a million dollars folks! How can peop
