Seventh Heaven!

Those of you who've known me a long time, know I am an OSMOND fan and a BEE GEES fan! Tonight was seventh heaven for me. Donny Osmond made it to the finals of Dancing With the Stars,

and the Bee Gees (sans Maurice, who passed away a few years ago) sang "You Should Be Dancing" on the show.

The whole show was exciting for me! I remember the early 70's, when I shared a room with my older sister Rhonda. We had blue walls in our bedroom, though you'd never know that because they were plastered with pictures of Donny Osmond and his brothers out of Teen Beat, 16, Tiger Beat, etc. magazines! It's poetic justice to see Donny Osmond flourishing in his 50's. He turns 52 in December. Yes, I know his age. I know all the Osmond's ages. The older performing brothers are all 2 years apart in age. And Marie turned 50 in October. Yes, I grew up with them, and yes, I still treasure those memories. GO DONNY! I hope you win Dancing With the Stars. You deserve it!

VACATION

On vacation for a few days (return to work on Thursday)...here's where I wish I was... I plan on enjoying some peace and quiet...and possibly, if I get motivated, getting some cleaning and organizing done in the office area of the basement. We'll see if that motivation arrives (it's not here yet)... Good news for Park City residents...recycling came to town the first of January. We are charged $4.00 month (added onto our already high water bill); but it has lowered the price of our trash pickup. The company P.C. contracted with has a much lower price than the company we use. Our company matched the price, so our trash bills went down (considerably) AND we get to recycle. We can recycle almost all our plastics, newspapers, cardboard, aluminum cans, cereal boxes, glass, motor oil, etc. We've got two big bags to set out tomorrow. Just doin' our part for the environment. We are without hot water right now...our hot water heater needs a new thermo-couple? It's a fair

Isn't This Gross?

Corby lets Muffin drink out of his milk glass. Isn't that disgusting? I love animals, but I sure don't share my drinks with them. YUCK! Brandon will be home tomorrow - on his 19th birthday! His last final is at 12:30. Corby & Kaleb are headed up to help him bring his stuff home. I was planning on going, but because Hope is out on medical leave, I can't take off. That's okay - I really wasn't looking forward to carrying his stuff down 7 flights of stairs! YIPPEE - MY BABY IS COMING HOME FOR THE SUMMER! Does anyone else out there love "House Hunters" - the show on HGTV? For some reason, that show grabs me. I like to see the 3 houses the couples (sometimes singles) choose from. Of course, most of them have a lot more money than we do! Saw one last night that was a young couple in Chicago - lived in the inner city, but with 2 kids decided to move to the suburbs. Their goal was to find a house for under $1,000,000. That a million dollars folks! How can peop
